“Glengarry Vista”

Glengarry is a valley in Scotland. We visited there on a tour of the country and found this amazing view, with the requisite bagpiper playing as we arrived.  The coach stop was brief, alas, so we had time only for a few photos, while I sketched and noted details as fast as I could.  The painting was done completely in the studio from a composite of all the photos and my memory.
